Sgt. 1st Class Joanna Carter, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, recites the Soldiers creed during a phase II appearance board at Fort Knox, Ky., Mar. 10. Carter was one of five Soldiers competing for a spot on the unit's Honor Guard team. During the selection board Soldiers were asked questions on topics ranging from Military history to funeral honors.
