170307-N-HI376-143 PHILIPPINE SEA (Mar. 07, 2017) Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) conduct a personnel transfer with a rigid hull inflatable boat crew, attached to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63), as part of MultiSail 17. MultiSail 17 is a bilateral training exercise improving interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise benefits from realistic, shared training enhancing our ability to work together to confront any contingency.
