A member of the Rusafa Emergency Response Team searches an inmate’s belonging for contraband during "Operation Clean Sweep" at Karhk Prison near Baghdad. The search was an opportunity for members of the 105th Military Police Battalion and the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance to advise the Iraqis on their search techniques and procedures. The searches netted sharpened toothbrushes, cell phone parts, and razorblades, among other prohibited items, Sept 23, 2010. The Iraqi Ministry of Justice took over operation of the prison in August.
