MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 12, 2017) A U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey with the 7th Special Operations Squadron, 352nd Special Operations Wing departs the flight deck of USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) during deck landing qualifications in the Mediterranean Sea March 12, 2017. Carter Hall, with elements of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard, is currently deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
