PFULLENDORF, Germany – A member of the Polish special operation forces checks the blood pressure of a role-playing patient during the final field training exercise of the NATO Special Operations Combat Medic Course, March 1, 2017. This inaugural class, hosted by the International Special Training Centre, is 22-weeks long and covers not just lifesaving intervention but long-term care to prepare these combat medics to deal with any challenge that may arise on future missions.
