El Salvadorian Col. Walter Arevalo, the commander of the El Salvador’s Special Forces, briefs several military leaders, academia, and diplomats about the current state of his nation during this year’s Combating Terrorism Fellowship Program Conference, which was held September 20-24 in Miami. El Salvador is one of 16 nations from across the Western Hemisphere that participated in this year’s conference which focuses on countering illicit trafficking throughout the Western Hemisphere.
