ARLINGTON, Va. (March 15, 2017) – Steven Peterson, left, lab manager for the Technology and Innovation Lab, Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Norfolk, Va., discusses innovative 3D printing solutions to everyday military operations during the Department of the Navy’s 2017 3D Print-a-Thon expo at the Pentagon. Twenty DoN organizations - including scientists and engineers from the Naval Research and Development Establishment, maintenance operations, and Marines and Sailors from multiple commands – presented items produced through the use of Additive Manufacturing technology.
