Republic of Korea Marines with 1st Amphibious Assault Vehicle Battalion, 1st Marine Division worked with U.S. Marine Corps engineers from Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force on March 20, 2017 at Susong Ri live fire range, ROK, in support of Korea Marine Exercise Program 17-6. Together they participated in a combined-arms breach and shot an M58 mine clearing line charge (MICLIC). KMEP 17-6 seeks to maximize interoperability with ROKMC ground forces, to include tanks, amphibious assault vehicles (AAVs) and reconnaissance units. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
