Col. Larry Swift, commander of 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, “Ready First”, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas, pins Sgt.1st Class Chestine Sanders, III, a native of Pine Bluff, Ark., and platoon sergeant with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 501st Brigade Support Battalion, “Ready First” with an Army Commendation Medal for being selected into the Sgt. Audie Murphy Club during an award ceremony of Contingency Operating Site Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq, Sept. 20. Sgt. 1st Class Sanders was also awarded with the Sgt. Audie Murphy Club Forces Command Certificate during the ceremony.
