BANGOR, Wash. (March 21, 2017) Sonar Technician 3rd Class Darren Rosser, from Crossville, Tennessee, assigned to the Gold crew of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Nevada (SSBN 733), meets his baby girl for the first time as the boat returns to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor following a routine strategic deterrent patrol. Nevada is one of eight ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base providing the most survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
