Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 68th Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, conduct Operation Golden Shovel with Estonian Defence Forces on Kukepalu range as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, March 23. This exercise is part of a company level training exercise where Soldiers and tanks from Company C teamed up with a team of Estonian reconnaissance soldiers to advance their position and clear an entrenched force with anti-tank weapons. This gives U.S. Soldiers a chance to understand how their Estonian counterparts respond to an armored attack and Estonian soldiers gain a deeper understanding of U.S. techniques and tactics. The 3rd ABCT trains to operate in any environment and the unique opportunities offered through Operation Atlantic Resolve allow U.S. Soldiers to hone their skills operating as a combined arms team with their Allies and partners.
