Members of the U.S., Japanese, Indian, Singaporean, Pakistani, and Vietnamese armed forces toured the ship as a means of strengthening relations with regional partners. George Washington, the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, is underway helping to ensure security and stability in the western Pacific Ocean.
