    16th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    Sgt. Daniel C. Denny, a native of Ridgecrest, N.C., and a combat engineer with 1st Platoon, B Company, 40th Engineers Battalion, 170th Infantry Brigade, based out of Baumholder, Germany, conducts a pre-mission briefing with 1st Lt. Patrick R. Henshaw, the platoon leader for 1st Platoon, Oct. 3, prior to a route-clearing mission in the rural area around the city of Tarin Kot, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. B Company has recently been moved to work with the Combined Team Uruzgan which is manned half by soldiers from 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment based out of Vilseck, Germany and members of the Australian Defense Force.
