CAPU MIDIA, Romania (March 20, 2017)— Romanian Army Lt. Preda Laura poses for a portrait at Capu Midia training grounds in Romania, during exercise Spring Storm 2017, March 20. The purpose of this exercise is to provide U.S. amphibious forces with operational training with our Romanian Allies in order to enhance interoperability and strengthen our enduring partnership. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is currently deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
