U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Randy Christenson, the outgoing M1A1 tank combat advisor – known by the call sign “Black Seven” – who is a member of Iraq Training and Advisory Mission-Army at the Besmaya Combat Training Center, congratulates an Iraqi Army M1A1 Tank Familiarization Course cadre on a successful training exercise Sept. 24. Christenson, a native of Dupont, Wash., said he’s built relationships with the Iraqis cadre; respects the work they’re doing and is going to miss them. “I never say goodbye; I always say see you later,” he said. “Even though I’ll probably never see them again, they are difficult to walk away from. There’s some emotion there.”
