    A Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf (WMSL-750) crew, prepares to board a fishing vessel during their 63-day deployment protecting living marine resources among the fishing fleets in the Bering Sea.

    As the first demonstration of a multi-crewed National Security Cutter, the 126-person crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, homeported in Alameda, California, conducted 26 boardings while deployed aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Waesche (WMSL-751), also homeported in Alameda.
