U.S. Marine Sgt. Maj. Lociedo Ferrer (center) receives the sword of office from Col. Jeff L. Jarosz (right) during the Combat Logistics Regiment 1 Relief and Appointment Ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 31, 2017. Ferrer accepted his post as the regimental sergeant major from Sgt. Maj. Lonnie N. Travis during the ceremony at the 11 Area Parade Field. The ceremony included marching of the colors, passing of the sword of office, presenting Travis his award and closing remarks from the oncoming and off going personnel.
