A Humvee assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit backs onto Landing Craft Utility 1627 docked at the stern gate of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry. Harpers Ferry pulled into Subic Bay to participate in Amphibious Landing Exercise 2011, an annual, bilateral, amphibious-landing training exercise that improves interoperability, increases readiness, and builds professional relationships between the U.S. and the Philippines.
