The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf returns to homeport April 4, 2017 in Alameda, Calif., aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Waesche after a 63-day deployment protecting living marine resources among fishing fleets in the Bering Sea. The 126-person Bertholf crew conducted 26 boardings while deployed aboard the Waesche, also homeported in Alameda, which was the first demonstration of a multi-crewed National Security Cutter.
