The Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert B. Neller, presents the flag to Annie Glenn during her husbands funeral in Arlington National Cemetery.
Sen. John H. Glenn, Jr. was laid to rest on a rainy day not far from the Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Glenn, who died Dec. 8 at age 95, had a private burial at Arlington attended by relatives and invited guests. The service was scheduled for what would have been John and Annie Glenn's 74th wedding anniversary.
