Broadwater, an Aliceville, Alabama, native serving as an assistant plans officer with Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), fires her M16 rifle downrange during a weapons qualification event conducted April 8, 2017, at the Combat Arms Training Facility in Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The 143d ESC coordinated with the U.S. Air Force to use this $8.5 million facility to train and qualify approximately 300 Soldiers as they continue to fulfill the Army Reserve's ongoing mission to quickly deliver a lethal and combat capable force in an ever-evolving environment.
