Rear Adm. Tim Gallaudet, commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (NMOC) and Oceanographer of the Navy, meets with Naval Academy midshipmen at INFINITY Science Center in Pearlington, Miss., on April 7. The midshipmen led Navy-related science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities during "Full STEM Ahead!" held at the science center for students from Moss Point (Miss.) High School. Gallaudet provided closing remarks for the event, which was also supported by Navy commands at Stennis Space Center, Miss., including the Naval Research Lab, NMOC and Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School. The Midshipmen also toured Naval Oceanography activities at Stennis Space Center following the event.
