Roches, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 4 (ACU 4), examines midway fuel samples while refueling Landing Craft, Air Cushion 2 in the well deck aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50). The ship is currently deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
