SOUTH CHINA SEA (April 9, 2017) Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Marcus Hodges, from Hartford, Connecticut, removes chocks and chains from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) 4, during flight operations aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108). Wayne E. Meyer is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend U.S. 3rd Fleet command and control functions into the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
