ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 12, 2017) -- Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) leaves an "s" shaped wake during high speed turns. The future USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) is underway on its own power for the first time.
