USNS John Ericsson pulls away from HMAS Sydney in stormy conditions following a refuelling Replenishment at Sea.
Mid Caption:
HMAS Sydney has commenced a deployment to North and South East Asia to participate in exercises and visit regional ports. While deployed, Sydney will represent Australia at Japan's International Fleet Review in Tokyo before conducting port visits to Manila in the Philippines, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Brunei. The deployment reinforces Australia's commitment to regional stability and presents an opportunity to further develop military to military relationships. Sydney is scheduled to return to her homeport in Fleet Base East in November via Cairns.
