Jamie Johnson with the 979th Mobility Augmentation Company, 478th Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade, 412th Theater Engineer Command, based in Lexington, Ky., engages targets in a "react to contact" drill during the company's training at Wilcox Range on Fort Knox, Ky., March 30, 2017. Johnson was carrying a Bangalore torpedo which he and another Soldier teamed up to detonate. This was part of Engineer Qualification Table (EQT) VIII.
