Participants of International Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action Day hold up signs that state, “together against mines,” in Orahovac, Kosovo, April 4. Members of Kosovo Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams and humanitarian demining organizations came together and celebrated the start of the humanitarian demining season in Kosovo. Munitions were dropped on targets in northern Kosovo in 1999 during a bombing campaign between NATO members and the army of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
