Students from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL class 285 are served lunch for the first time at the grand opening of Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command Oceanside BUD/S Galley at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. The galley was built to reduce the potential for injury some students have received from previously running six miles to and from chow daily. The Navy SEALs are the maritime component of U.S. Special Operations Forces and are trained to conduct a variety of operations from the Sea, Air and Land.
