Sarah Kruger, a biomedical engineer, attaches reflective markers to a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) patient at the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) Laboratory at National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., March 20, 2017. After the patients are attached to a safety harness, they walk on a treadmill on a platform that moves and rotates in conjunction with movements of the projected environment.
