Jonathan Amlong, a rifleman with Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, posing as a civilian driver, responds to the commands of a Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) service member during entry control and vehicle checkpoint training at Taurama Barracks as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, April 16. During the bilateral training, the PNGDF service members assumed control of a notional vehicle entry point, stopping suspicious drivers, and proceeding to search the vehicle for any contraband.
