LIELVĀRDE, Latvia – Sergeant Major of the Army Daniel A. Dailey visits the hangar at Lielvarde Air Base, Latvia, during his visit, April 18. Dailey covers numerous topics with the large group of flight crew and aircraft mechanics from 2nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment and 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, both from 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York,. Dailey also inquires about the Soldiers' concerns, and their thoughts on Army policies. The unit is stationed in Lielvarde to conduct aviation operations in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led NATO endeavor to promote peace in the region by deterring aggressive actions.
