U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Mikki Sprenkle, a Combat Documentation/ Production Specialist, assigned to the 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera), overcomes the balancing logs obstacle during obstacle course as part of the 2017 5th Annual SPC Hilda I. Clayton Best Combat Camera (COMCAM) Competition at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., April 18, 2017. The obstacle course is conducted on day two of the Spc. Hilda I. Clayton Best COMCAM Competition, which is designed to build self-confidence and teamwork by taking members out of their comfort zones. The obstacle course is the fourth event of the competition, in which teams of two compete throughout a weeklong event that tests their physical, mental and technical capabilities. The Competition is established in honoring fallen combat camera Soldier SPC Hilda I. Clayton, who gave her life July 02, 2013 in Afghanistan as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
