Kok, commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command (right), receives a special congressional recognition from Bob Smyth, field representative for U.S. Congressman Tom MacArthur, during the 99th RSC Army Superior Unit Award ceremony April 21 at the command’s headquarters on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The 99th RSC received the award for providing aid and assistance from October 2012 to April 2013 to communities in New York City that were devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
