FORT BRAGG, NC - Soldiers from the 528th Sustainment Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne) conducted Convoy Live Fire Training on Apr. 12-13, 2017. This training was aimed to enhance the Soldier's abilities to carry-out proper tactical convoy operations and prepare them for upcoming deployments. During the exercise Soldiers practied with both blank rounds and live ammunition during simulated transport missions. Over the course of two days Soldiers were given the opportunity to practice casualty evacuation, disable vehicle transport, and reacting to improvised explosve devices (IEDs). Overall the training improved the Brigade's tactical advantage on the battlefield in addition to increasing its combat readiness, and prepared its Soldiers to be ready for situations they may have to combat when deployed.
