PACIFIC OCEAN (April 20, 2017) U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. James Charapich, a native of Salisbury, Md. assigned to the "Gray Wolves" of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 142, jumps out of the cockpit of an EA-18G Growler aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), April 20, 2017, in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is currently underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group's mission-readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real-world scenarios.
