Private 1st Class Megan Collins runs to join a formation of Georgia Guardsmen assigned to the Columbus-based 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade during the Georgia Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion battle handoff ceremony at Fort Stewart, Ga.
Nearly 300 Soldiers of the Georgia Army National Guard were welcomed by their units during the ceremony, the largest transfer of its kind in the history of the Georgia Guard’s Recruit Sustainment Program.
