SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii (April 24, 2017) --- A youth art therapy participant explains his recent creation to the Second Lady of the United States, Karen Pence (left), who visited with military and civilian leaders during a tour hosted by U.S. Health Clinic at Schofield Barracks. During the visit, Pence heard about various forms of art therapy being used to help military members and their families deal with difficulties, disabilities or diagnoses. Dr. Lisa Gomes (second to right), a clinical psychologist and play therapist and Expressive Arts Group-Therapy facilitator, also discussed with Pence about how she is using art therapy with kids.
