PATUXENT RIVER, Maryland (April 2, 2017) - Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Travis Turner, NAS Patuxent River Security Department leading chief petty officer, acts as range safety officer as members of Navy Reserve Naval Security Force (NR-NSF) Patuxent River perform M9 pistol qualifications at NAS Patuxent River.
The Reservists, headquartered at Navy Operational Support Center Baltimore, augment the active duty police force at NAS Patuxent River and qualify on the same equipment and range as the active duty component.
