Spectators experience living history as they watch U.S. and German Soldier re-enactors simulate a gunfight from World War II during a living history war reenactment at the Texas Military Department Open House and American Heroes Air Show at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas, April 22, 2017. The reenacting groups demonstrate how battles were fought in the European theater in honor of those who served and those who sacrificed their lives there by keeping the history and the era alive through living history. This year is the 75th Anniversary of the United States' entry into World War II and the 100th Anniversary of the 36th Infantry Division. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
