Iraqi air force pilots go through their morning preflight briefing, where they discuss the weather and daily flight plan, Sept. 26, at Tikrit Air Base, Iraq. The pilots are learning to fly the T-6 Texan II and also become instructor pilots to train future Iraqi air force pilots. U.S. Air Force instructor pilots are training and advising the first group as part of the advise, train, assist, and equip mission of Operation New Dawn.
