CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait (April 23, 2017)— A mine-resistant ambush-protected all-terrain vehicle (M-ATV) speeds by to herd camels away from a U.S. Marine M777 A2 howitzer gun line at an indirect firing range outside Camp Buehring, Kuwait April 23, 2017. The Marines are assigned to Fox Battery, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The Marines are in Kuwait for a sustainment training evolution. The 24th MEU is currently deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
