Cpl. Benjamin Scott, a logistics and transportation non-commissioned officer for Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), shakes hands and receives his corporals course certificate from Sgt. Maj. James Calbough, the 9th Engineer Support Battalion sergeant major, after graduating from the corporals course, Oct. 26, aboard Camp Leatherneck.
Scott, 22, from Baltimore, and 77 other corporals spent the past 17 days completing the course.
“There were some amazing statistics associated with this class,” said Calbough, from Trenton, Mich., “Such as the 78 corporals in attendance. Very rarely have I ever seen a corporals course this large.”
