Newly-appointed U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron P. Munter and his wife, Marilyn Wyatt, speak with a Pakistani woman waiting to receive flood relief supplies from a U.S. Marine Corps CH-53 Super Stallion near Hassan Khan Jamali, a small village in the Sindh province, Pakistan, Oct. 30. The ambassador visited Pano Aqil Cantonment, Pakistan, to see first-hand the Pakistan and U.S. military flood relief efforts conducted in the Sindh province, Pakistan, as well as to participate in a humanitarian mission bringing relief supplies to flood victims. Marines have been supporting Pakistan’s flood relief operations in Pano Aqil since Sept. 3 and since then have transported more than 3.7 million pounds of relief supplies to 150 different locations in southern Pakistan.
