    Maj. Gen. Peter S. Lennon, and his wife, Elaine, in front of the World War I Victory Arch, Newport News, Va. Lennon retired in March after serving 40 years in the Army. Lennon’s last assignment was the U.S. Army Reserve Command deputy commanding general for support. He had a storied career as an Army logistician.
