CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 165 (Reinforced) land aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu. Four helicopters from HMM-165 spent ten weeks in Pakistan assisting in humanitarian relief efforts after severe flooding. Peleliu is the command platform for the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
