Jansen is the commanding general of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade and deputy commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force. Norton is the commanding officer of 4th Marine Regiment. The ceremony was held to commemorate the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Filipinos who fought and sacrificed to defend the Philippines during World War II.
