The CH-46E helicopters sit securely tied down to the flight deck the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima. Iwo Jima departed Paramaribo, Suriname, on Nov. 1, 2010 and is currently en-route to Haiti in preparation of the possibility of providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the government of Haiti in the wake of Hurricane Tomas.
