The 167th Theater Sustainment Command's culinary specialists (92G) set up a Containerized Kitchen to serve chow to the Soldiers during annual training on May 2, 2017, at Fort McClellan, Alabama. The Containerized Kitchen is an updated version of the traditional Mobile Kitchen Trailer (MKT) and has onboard power generation, ventilation of exhaust by-products, environmental control, onboard refrigerated storage, and hot and cold running water. The 167th TSC’s kitchen allows the unit to be self-sustaining so that outside resources can be utilized to sustain the organizations the unit is tasked to support.
