Arabian Sea (Nov. 30, 2006) - Shooters conduct safety checks on an aircraft barricade as part of a drill on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Aircraft barricades are used in an emergency when aircraft can not land safely. IKE and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations.
